Stable and Playful whitewater performance. If running rapids on a SUP is your bag, the RIVER is your board. Thoroughly tested and developed with BIC SUPs whitewater ambassadors to create the ultimate blend of features and performance for whitewater paddling. At 9’2” the RIVER is compact, rigid (15psi), rugged and maneuverable. At 36” wide and 6” thick it’s a super-stable platform that easily punches through waves and swirly, boily eddylines. Six grab handles are carefully placed along the rails for easy access when you need to quickly pull yourself back on board. These rugged handles also work great for securing gear with cam straps if you need to bring along more gear than the standard bungee deck rigging will accommodate. Optimized nose and tail rocker help keep the board on top of the water through holes and prevents pearling while surfing. A Low-profile permanent quad flexi-fin set-up is ideal for running shallow rapids and for maximum maneuverability while the universal center fin box lets you attach a longer center fin (included) for added stability and tracking in deeper water. This fin also makes the RIVER versatile for all-around flat water paddling (psst- it works GREAT as a yoga board too!) Backpack, 2-way pump, gauge, repair kit and removable center fin all come standard.

Ultra-Light, Impressively Rigid, Highly Durable – We’ve revolutionized our SUP AIR construction to optimize rigidity, reduce weight and maintain shape control (via the rocker profile) and durability. An ultra high-density Dyneema® Stringer belt wraps the board tip to tail for added rigidity. Double layer rails maximize durability where needed most and helps to maintain shape. A single layer of drop-stitch material keeps the board extremely lightweight.
