ACE-TEC

The FIT-SUP is based on our extremely popular and stable 10’6’’ ACE-TEC model, but adds additional features for fitness paddlers as well as anyone looking for a customizable all-around SUP. Five deck attachment points are ideal for securing gear for fitness/yoga use (resistance bands, paddle leash, anchor, etc.) and are perfect for attaching a bungee cord for general gear storage. An elongated deck pad allows full use of the board for yoga/ fitness routines and is also great for a pet or child to ride on the front of the board! The SUPs in our FIT series open up SUP to a wider range of activity options. They are developed from the very versatile and light weight shapes in our ACE-TEC range, but with extra fittings and features to help adapt them to personal fitness programmes.

ACE TEC is a light composite that gives the board excellent stiffness and the best of glide on the water, at an affordable price. This technology which is exclusive to BIC Sport allows for the original shape to be reproduced faithfully on all production boards. ACE TEC provides a huge advantage over polyester and epoxy sandwich: it is its excellent resistance to shocks, provided by its fine coating skin made out of polymer materials that protect it. A shock against a rock will leave just the slightest of marks on the skin of an ACE-TEC SUP board, whereas it would certainly leave a hole in a polyester or epoxy sandwich board.
