Céline Guesdon

Céline Guesdon is passionate and driven, and her 2015 season was particularly successful. Double French SUP Race Champion in 2013 and 2014, she was selected to represent France at the SUP Race World Championships that happened between the 10th and 17th of May 2015 at Sayulita, Mexico, finishing in a highly creditable 4th place.

A key member of Team BIC Sport alongside d'Eric Terrien & Chase Kosterlitz, she finished second in the overall rankings of the European Cup of the Waterman League at the final in Rome, after two third place finishes, at Saint Maxime, France, and Lost Mills, Germany, plus a fine victory in Finland.

On the Stand Up World Series circuit, Céline has had a succession of top five finishes : first in Finland, fifth in Japan, fifth in USA... This gave her fifth place in the overall 2015 world rankings. A highly impressive performance ! And lets not forget, she also won the Morbihan Paddle Trophy, and has been as impressive in the Sprints as she has over the Long Distances.

At the 2015 French Championships, Céline retained her Long Distance title and climbed to second place in the Technical Race discipline.
Professional and driven on the competition circuit, she brings the same qualities to her work with beginner SUP-ers at her Stand Up Paddle school that she set up in the south of France in 2015. The school offers beginner classes, safari and exploration excursions, and pays very special attention to SUP classes for kids, using specially adapted BICSUP equipment. She's also heavily involved, alongside Eric Terrien, in the development of new BIC race boards. For 2016 Céline is more motivated than ever and aiming to climb even higher in the world SUP rankings !
